Who this is for

Two people arrive here, and neither of them is a beginner at everything.

The program is modular on purpose. Nobody is walked through material they already know, and nothing in it assumes you are starting from zero unless you are.

You have never written code

You can describe the thing. You just cannot build it yet.

That wall used to be syntax. It is not any more. The wall now is knowing what to ask for, recognising when what came back is wrong, and understanding why it falls apart on the second screen. None of that requires you to write code, and all of it is teachable.

The code comes out fine. The product is what falls apart.

You ship. It works on your machine, in the happy path, on a laptop. Then there is no empty state, no error handling, six screens that each make sense alone and none of them in sequence, and a file you cannot debug because you did not write it. That gap is the entire reason this program exists.

You will finish holding evidence a hiring manager or a client can open, and nobody will walk you through what a commit is.

AI gets you a demo in an afternoon. It does not get you a product.

That is not a complaint about AI, it is an accurate description of what it is good at. The demo is the easy part. Everything below is the rest, and it is the whole difference between something you show a friend and something a stranger will pay for and come back to.

The first one is always fine. What happens between screens, and in what order, is where it comes apart.

Every course ends with something running, not with a quiz.

Each one is standalone. Take them in any order, or take one and stop. Nothing is locked and nothing is drip-fed. The four marked CORE are the ones the professional credential requires; any two of the rest count as your electives.

All of it is free to learn. The only thing that costs money is asking a human to check what you built and put their name on it, and that is further down this page.

What you have at the end

Nine shipped products. And the paperwork to prove all of them are yours.

One certificate per course, each pointing at a thing that is actually running. The plate in front is the AI Product Engineer professional credential, and it is the only one that cannot be reached by finishing lessons: it requires a product of your own design, built from nothing, reviewed by a person.

These are design specimens. The holder name, projects and identifiers are placeholders. Every real plate names a live URL, a public repository, the commit count and the engineer who read the code, so anyone can check it in a minute without asking us anything.

The professional certificate inverts the plate deliberately, so the two are never mistaken for each other at a glance. Its value is argued with density, not decoration: every constituent credential enumerated by name and date, and a tally that a course certificate cannot produce.

How it is checked

Machines reject the sloppy work. A human does the part that cannot be automated.

You submit a live URL and a public repository. What happens next is published in advance, in this order, so nothing about the decision is a mystery.

You complete two peer reviews before your own submission enters the human queue. It surfaces the obvious problems early, and reading someone else's code is the entire subject of course 06.

Stage 3 · twenty minutes

Five criteria, scored 0 to 4, against a rubric published before you pay. Pass and the certificate is issued with the reviewer's name on it. Fall short and you get written feedback and one free resubmission.

AI may draft a first pass against the rubric for the reviewer to edit. It never sends a review unread. If that ever changes, the promise on the certificate is dead and so is the reason to want one.

Why it is hard to fake

A credential that makes a claim has to survive someone trying to cheat it.

If one certified project turns out to be bought or copied, every certificate we have issued is worth nothing. So these are not policies, they are the design.

Randomised brief

Every student gets a different constraint on the same project. No two submissions are the same, so nothing can be bought or copied wholesale.

DECISIONS.md is mandatory

Three tradeoffs, in your own words, and why you chose what you chose. Using AI to build is expected and fine. Not being able to explain your own product is not.

Repository forensics

Not a fork. Commit history that is not one dump. Every submission is compared against every previous submission.

The capstone is on camera

A two minute walkthrough recorded by you. It is the one place where the cost of faking it exceeds the cost of doing the work.

Questions worth asking first

The honest answers, including the ones that lose us a sale.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Course 01 assumes nothing, and the whole premise of the program is that AI has moved the wall. What it has not moved is knowing what to build, in what order, and why the output is wrong when it is wrong.

If you already write software, start at 04 and skip everything you already know.

Is this just prompt engineering with extra steps?

No. Prompting is one course out of nine. The other eight are product sense, data models, deployment, agents, reading code you did not write, security and cost, and getting your first user. That list is the difference between a coder and a product engineer.

Is the certificate recognised or accredited?

No. We are not accredited by anyone and we will never imply that we are. What it carries instead is a live product, open source code and a named engineer who read it.

Whether that is worth more to a particular employer than an unaccredited certificate from a bigger name is a judgement you should make yourself, with the plate in front of you.

Can I just pay and get certified?

No. The fee buys a review, not a result. If the work does not meet the published rubric you get written feedback and a free resubmission, not a certificate.

Am I allowed to use AI to build the project?

Yes, and you are expected to. That is the whole point. What you are not allowed to do is fail to explain your own product, which is why DECISIONS.md is mandatory and why the capstone is recorded.

What if my project goes offline later?

The verify page says so honestly and keeps the repository link. A certificate is a record of what was true on the day it was issued, and it does not pretend otherwise.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, in full, any time before a human starts reading your code. After that the time has been spent and it is not refundable. The complete terms are on the refund page and they say the same thing.
